Birthday Tag

Hi Friends,
It's my sister's birthday and this tag is for her..Happy birthday Sis!

Was soo wanting to try my new goodies from local craft market..and here is the result..I started with a glossy ivory card stock and layered with loads of distress inks( I am crazy abt them),stenciling,stamping,embossing.Then layered it with sisal(flat jute),diecut and stamped sentiment.Her I have used Versafine onyx black ink,Its awesome.Then ribbon is distressed.I have used a wooden wheel(glossy accent effect),stars,handmade flower(made with handmade paper).

Hope u all like it and hope it qualifies for Lulupu-load it up(3 layers and 3 embellishments)

Autumn is in!

Hi Friends,

As the weather is getting colder and the whole environment is changing to autumn feel..thought  of making few fall/autumn cards.

What would be more appropriate than distress inks.In the first card,there is lots embossing .I have embossed the maple leaves and used magic water color technique,mentioned in Rajni ji's recent blog post and fuzzy cut them.Again using few links from her post I made the flower.I loved it and want to experiment more on it.The background is handmade too.I have stamped with different types clock stamps and then added embossed clock (diecut from Artbug,India).I loved the result..:)

Second card is simple.Embossed background with some inking.The panel is made with distress water technique and stamping,embossing and then again loads of distress inking.The flowers are again magic water technique from the above card.

Stamp,color,emboss,distress..

Hi friends,
Lots of things went into the background.I have first stamped it with hearoarts flower background stamp which I won from Lulupu candy and the colored it with distress inks.Then I stamped again with another background stamp.The tag in the front is fully distressed with different colors and then water droplets have brought that amazing effect .Then I have colored a plain white paper flower with distress inks.The sentiment is heat embossed...
