Aarthi Thali

Last week's Navratri fever was on and we enjoyed at garba ras here in swiss..There was an aarthi thali(lamp for god) decoration competition.There were other fantastic entries and my thali won first prize..I turned a simple Ikea tray into thali..I used crepe paper to cover the tray and quilled on it .added rhinestones to give authentic look.

Back to School

After a small break of a week..I thought of playing with BCG-Back to school challenge..I made a simple card with handmade embellishments ,the book and the pencil..then added washi tape for the blackboard border ...Numbers are from Itsy bitsy..
This card took me abt 20 mins..the idea was very clear..:-)

I am very happy to introduce you to "Prerana Jewellery".
I was waiting for a right time to use my clay stock..so today is a special day...my new product range is out..clay jewellery products.As a teen I was fascinated by the name Prerana so I decided to name my handmade clay jewellery.
I used both polymer clay and terracotta clay.

Few simple cards.

Hi ,
After a hectic weekend enjoyed my quiet time on worktable..made 3 cards back to back.
First card is a simple christmas card.I bought these very reasonable christmas stamps..and tried this chrstmas tree.I stamped it with stmap ink but then I found that usually foam stamps are used with acrylic paints..have to try more with that technique.Entering it to

2012 Christmas Card Challenge Week #46

Second one is inspired by Stamp tv woodgrain technique.I made the wood grain background paper using mustard cardstock and inks..and ofcourse scoreboard.I used this cool washi tape..love to use more.

Third card is a digi from a useful site.thanks ...I colored it with oil pastels and used glitter to enhance.Entering it to Hands2 heart-A precious child

2 sets of 3 cards

Hi all,
This was on my list..I wanted to make few diwali cards..so here are sets of 3 cards.
First set :I used golden paper and stamped on it..but the problem here was it took very long time for ink to dry..Then I placed quilled diyas in the corner as if the stamped motifs looks like the rays from Diya(lamp).
Second set:Looks simple but loads of work..First I had to punch out the flower from EK success sunburst punch ,Then on the scallop circle(EK success layering punch) I used individual letters to stamp"DIWALI WISHES".This took lot of time since I had to stamp each letter 3 times in different color..but u know I loved the whole process..thats what is called love for crafting..:)and I am sure u all understand that.Entering this to Simon says stamp-Use Dies or/and Punches

I like to punch so tried out again using my double arches punch from MS and also back to basics..I was not that happy that I have not quilled for many days so happy now to quill...I quilled the snowflake(looks like flower too..;))...

Girls are Angels!!!

Second post of the day....
I dedicate this post to all the girls..especially my sweet lil princess my daughter Avni..Whenever she hugs,whenever she smiles,whenever she laughs ,whenever she dances,whenever she sings...only one thing I say is Girls are Angels!!

I have made an easel card(12 cm by 12 cm).the base is pink.I have used a digital stamp in this..It's a cute lil angel I found from an unknown site as free digi(thanks ).I colored the angel with inkpad colors using the brush pen.I used it for the first time ..I have to improve a lot..:).Inside the card is the sentiment and I have used acetate punched flowers and some bling..

Letter "B"+My favouraite 4+ICRC22

Here is my card for today...

Letter B-Blue,Butterfly,Bling,Brad( with the support of white) for MONO Chromatic+Letter family for ICRC22


My favourite four-D1:Stamping(Anything goes):I have stamped(kissing method) the flowers ,used blings as pearls and also some blings on itsy bitsy flowers.Then also stamped the sentiments on a flag and the embellishments are flowers,butterfly.
I hope it qualifies this time..:)
